Goat Spice FAQ's

Goat Spice FAQ's

We have gathered up many questions from our customers, family and friends. Below you will find answers to the most frequently asked. Should you have a question feel free to fill out the form on our contact us page and we will not only get back to you personally but will add it to our FAQ page, so others can benefit from your question.

How much do I use?

That is going to be totally up to the user and what you are using it on. We suggest, that on lighter food, such as eggs or veggies, that you start with a minimal amount until you reach your desired flavor profile and level of seasoning.

Meat such as hamburgers, ribs, or brisket can typically handle a larger dose of The GOAT Spice.

What can I use it on?

The short answer…almost anything! This spice blend was originally made for a meat-based California festival over 30 years ago! Over the years, we’ve discovered many other uses far beyond its original purpose.

One of the first out-of-the-box use was in scrambled eggs! Just a lite dusting mixed into the eggs before cooking yields a subtle flavor that will insure you never make scrambled eggs without it in the future!

We continually receive reports of clients using it in ways we would never have imagined years ago. The newest trend is on, of all things, seafood! We received very favorable reports of using it on everything from fried fish to shrimp boils!

It is also great in a variety of roasted vegetables, French fries, and a variety of sauces and gravies.

When used in the appropriate amount, it enhances almost every food!

What’s in it?

Like our friend Col. Saunders, it’s a subtle mixture of over 10 herbs and spices. It does contain salt, which when used in moderation, enhances all of the other seasonings!

We are looking into a low salt version as we realize this is an issue for some. A complete list of the majority of ingredients are clearly listed on each bottle.

No sugar, non-GMO, and certainly no artificial ingredients. Made and packaged here in the US.

What is the shelf life?

If stored properly (air tight and in dark location) it has a shelf life of well over a year. (trust us, once you try it, it will not last nearly that long!)
